What does Slayer Nest listen to?
Favourite musicians/bands?
Want to promote a band/musician you like?

I'll kick off the thread with my favourite album of 2013

Haken - The Mountain|Progressive rock/metal|UK
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oIY4X8yi5Oo

Adding a couple bands I listen to that hardly have any views on youtube

Pretty much anything. Recently been listening to some of these bands (and I'll chuck in a song if anyone fancies having a listen Wink )

Blue Stahli - Down in Flames
Celldweller - Frozen
-> There's an excellent remix of this which I think was done by Blue Stahli which is a million times better than the original.
Nickelback - Someday
30 Seconds to Mars - From Yesterday
AFI - Medicate
Foo Fighters - Everlong
Kylie Minogue - Everything is Beautiful

I typically listen to the soundtracks of video games. Most any game I like really but Rareware games are a favourite, along with Zelda games.

I'd have to say my favourite video game sountrack has to be the Metroid Prime series.
Here's a few of my favourites:

Oh boy.  Personally, I listen to a Pandora radio station 80% of the time because I honestly can't be bothered picking the songs I want to listen to, unless I'm having a craving for it.  Anyways, it's their generic "Today's Alternative" station, which tends to be okay.

As for my favorite bands, it's a tough choice between 30 Seconds to Mars and AC/DC, but I'm gonna have to go with 30 Seconds to Mars.  However, I'm more into their newer stuff off of This is War and Love, Lust, Faith + Dreams.

Anywho, I like a lot of 80's arena rock.  AC/DC, Styx, Queen, etc.

When I'm in the mood I listen to some Epic Score Music.  If you don't know what that is, check this out: The Prime Cronus. I also don't mind scores from movies I've seen or games I've played.

When I'm not feeling like listening to rock, I listen to some House.  Generally speaking, this is the channel I go to: Monstercat.

Outside of that, I listen to a bit of everything, with exception to Country (the only genre I absolutely cannot handle).  If I'm not listening to music I'm either in a Skype call, watching videos, or editing videos Very Happy

I'm subscribed to Prime Cronus channel!

and I would be here all day listing what I listen to, to touch base on a few I guess:

As I Lay Dying
Skillet
Katy Perry
Bon Jovi
Santana
Two Steps From Hell
Eminem
Blue Stahli
Shinedown

I will end the list here before it gets too long

I mostly listen to local radio stations, which will play "recent hits", just because as stated I can't be bothered to pick song up myself Smile

Although I got about 20hours playlist, mostly of rap, house, some hardstyle and maybe techno.
I'll from time to time play some classic music (most rather piano).

The worldwide known artists I enjoy:
bon Jovi
Eminem
Tiesto
Deadmouse

Maybe more, but can't think of it now; generally I would be too lazy to check artist/title of the song I enjoy Wink

Cheers!

Pains me to say it, but your taste in music is pretty decent. I like all that remains, soilwork, arteyu and children of boredom as well
