 Warbands Nerf

For anyone who hasn't seen...
Wilderness Warbands have undergone the following changes:
  • Items looted from a warband camp are now dropped on death, and can be picked up by PKers. Players can still only acquire (via camps or via PvP) 75 per day.
    Players will lose any warband items they currently hold if they try to log into the Wilderness.
    Quercus will now trade the items retrieved from a warband camp for either XP (as before) or for 4000 coins each.
    Each camp now only has 1000 lootable items - first come, first served!
    Warbands events are now synchronised across all worlds, with one starting every 7 hours.


Thoughts? I'm particularly annoyed with the 7 hours thing - it's basically the same as an xp nerf as unless you plan your day around RS you're rarely ever going to get to attend all 3 warbands -.- And you can't quick hop from worlds any more - you're forced to run back to edge in the world where the warband is

I like it. Mainly because I managed to get the skills I was doing to effigy opening lvls before this nerf. If I had not done so then I would be against it. Razz

The main objective of warbands was to get the wilderness going again. The ability to pk supplies will definitely contribute to that goal, in combination with no world hopping to escape from the pkers. I understand Jagex's reasoning for nerfing the update.

I'm both mad at it, and at the same time i could care less

i got 98 smith, easily buyable to 99 and mining isnt too bad, mostly afk Razz

but this is our chance to make SN PKWARBAND!!!!!

From what i've seen, its every single rs world that spawns at that 7 hour mark sooooo


we could designate two worlds (i say 119 and 36, those seem like our most favorite) and take them over and warband the hell out of it

(this was not all my idea, credit goes to alot of people)

Noooooo!!!! tbh, I dont understand how anyone could be happy about this unless they are 99/nearly 99 in wb skills. Makes me sad knowing i will be getting at most 25/75 resources Sad Crying or Very sad Sad Crying or Very sad
