Juggling Brews
: The act of dropping a saradomin brew flask and then dropping another one in order to pick up the first before the it disappears and doing this indefinitely until no longer needed.


Crystals: Power-up crystals will spawn every several waves.

Invulnerability Crystal: 15 seconds immunity to damage(SAVE FOR EMERGENCIES)
Restoration Crystal: Instantly restores Health and Prayer to full.
Constitution Crystal: Boosts Max HP by 50% for 3.5 minutes WARNING: While active no other crystals can be used!
Magic Crystal: Boosts magic by 50% for 3.5 minutes but reduces defense, strength, and ranged dramatically
Strength Crystal: Boosts Strength by 50% for 3.5 minutes but reduces defense, magic, and ranged dramatically
Ranged Crystal: Boosts Ranged by 50% for 3.5 minutes but reduces defense, magic, and strength dramatically.

Waves 1-10: The ranger waves

Good note for all waves: IF a ranger spawns that wave it will spawn in the northwest corner. So that's a good place to start.

Wave 1: 2 Xil, 1 Tok-Xil, 1 Hur
Start in melee gear with ranged protection on. Melee down all the rangers.(SS pray flick can be done with 1-2 left alive). After they are dead switch to mage gear(gano, ASN, PPS) trap the Hur and kill him with magic(SS recommended if you aren't at full hp).

Grab the invulnerability crystal that spawns in the center.

Wave 2: 2 Xil, 2 Tok-Xil, 2 Hur
Same As the wave before but there are two more creatures.

Wave 3: 1 Xil, 3 Tok-Xil, 1 Hur
Same as the two previous waves.

Grab the restoration crystal that spawns in the center.(You may have to juggle brews)


Wave 4: 3 Tok-Xil, 2 Mej
Keep the same gear on but pray magic. Kill the Tok-Xil then switch to range gear(chest/legs + cbow) and kill the Mej.

Wave 5: WAVE 5: 1 Xil, 3 Tok-Xil, 1 Ket-Dill
Switch back to melee gear(chest/legs, fury, weapon) pray range and kill the rangers. Stay far far away from the Ket-Dill as it can do massive damage through prayer. Once the rangers are dead either use dreadnips and a draogn pick on it or trap it behind a low wall, shoot it over the wall, run out drop a dreadnip and run back behind and keep shooting. The dreadnip will do all the damage and you will waste bolts but if you don't attack the dreadnip will leave. Ket-Dill can do a massive amount of damage in a short span of time. Note: Familiars can hit through the shell(e.g. Tort).

Grab the magic crystal that spawns in the center ONLY if you feel confident you can do Har-Akem at half defense.

Wave 6: 1 Xil, 3 Tok-Xil, 2 Mej
Start the wave in the Northwest corner with Ganodermic on and melee weapon + fury. Protect from range and melee all the rangers down as fast as possible. After they are dead(or down to 1) switch to protect from magic. After the rangers are dead switch to range gear and kill the Mej.

Wave 7: 1 Xil, 4 Tok-Xil, 1 Mej
Same as the previous wave.

Wave 8: 2 Tok-Xil, 1 Ket-Zek
Start the wave in melee gear with protect from magic on. Quickly kill the Tok-Xil and then switch to range gear and kill the Ket-Zek.

Wave 9: 6 Tok-Xil
Wearing melee gear and protect from range. Kill them as quickly as possible then run to the center rock.

Wave 10: 1 Jad, 1 Tok-Xil
Start the wave standing on the north east square of the two squares north of the center rock. Wait until the two creatures have walked to the rock. Step one spot north east in range gear with anti-range prayer on. Kill the Tok-Xil then immediately step back to the safespot you started on. Change into magic gear(Gano/ASN + arma bstaff or PPS and use Storm of Armadyl or PPS) step out from behind the rock and kill the Jad. It is the same as in the fight caves but no healers spawn so all you have to focus on is switch prayers.

Waves 11-20: The Magic Waves

Wave 11: 4 Mej
Pray anti-magic and use range gear. Kill all 4 Mej. Soulsplitting is possible when 1-2 are left.

Pick up the Constitution Crystal in the center.

Wave 12: 2 Mej, 2 Xil
Start with melee gear and anti-magic prayer. Melee down the Xil and then switch to range gear and kill the Mej.

Wave 13: 2 Mej, 1 Ket-Zek
Pray anti-magic. Use range to kill them. Start by killing the Ket-Zek then SS flicking the Mej.

Pick up the invulnerability crystal in the center.

Wave 14: 2 Mej, 2 Ket-Zek
Pray anti-magic. Trap the Ket-Zek if possible and range kill the Mej. Then kill both of the Ket-Zek.

Wave 15: 2 Ket-Zek, 1 Tok-Xil
Start with melee gear and anti-magic prayer. Melee down the Tok-Xil and then switch to ranged gear to kill the Ket-Zeks.

Pick up the restoration crystal in the center.

Wave 16: 2 Ket-Zek, 2 Mej, 1 Tok-Xil
Start with melee gear and anti-magic prayer. Melee the Tok-Xil. Switch to range gear and kill the Mej then the Ket-Zek.

Wave 17: 2 Ket-Zek, 1 Mej, 1 Xil, 1 Yt-MejKot
Just as before start the wave with melee gear and anti-magic prayer. Trap the Yt-Mejkot and as many Ket-zek as possible. Melee down the Xil then switch to ranged gear. Kill the mej and then both of the Ket-Zek. Once they are dead trap the Yt-Mejkot behind a rock and use magic gear(gano, ASN, PPS) to kill it. Use soulsplit to fill up your health.

OPTIONAL: Pick up the magic crystal in the center.

Wave 18: 2 Ket-Zek, 1 Mej , 2 Xil, 1 Yt-MejKot
Same as the previous wave but more enemies.

Wave 19: 8 Mej, 1 Ket-Dill
Start with range gear and anti-magic prayer. Stay far away from the Ket-Dill. Trap as many Mej as possible and range down all the mej. Lastly kill the Ket-Dill with dreadnips behind a rock you can range from.

Wave 20: 1 Jad, 1 Ket-Zek
Start the wave in the same place as wave 10. The north east-square directly above the center rock. Get in range gear, pray anti-magic and step one square northeast. Kill the Ket-Zek then immediately go back behind the rock. Change to your best magic gear/spell and step out to kill the Jad. Same as before, no healers, just one target to kill, concentrate on prayers and what hes doing and nothing else.

Waves 21-30: The Melee Waves

Wave 21: 12 Hur
Trap as many as possible and use magic to kill them. SS any small amounts of damage taken.

Wave 22: 1 Yt-MejKot, 2 Ket, 2 Hur
Trap all of them especially the Yt-MejKot and the two Kets. Kill them with magic. SS as needed.

Wave 23: 2 Yt-MejKot, 1 Ket, 2 Hur
Same as previous wave.

Pick up the constitution crystal in the center.

Wave 24: 4 Yt-MejKot, 1 Tok-Xil
Wear melee gear and kill the Tok-Xil while avoiding the four Yt-Mejkots. Trap the Mejkots and us magic to kill them. As always SS as needed while safe.

Wave 25: 1 Ket-Zek, 2 Yt-MejKot 2 Tok-Xil
Use melee gear and anti-magic prayer. Trap the Yt-MejKots and melee down the Tok-Xils. Switch to range gear and kill the Ket-Zek. Once the Ket-Zek is dead mage the MejKots from a safe place. SS as needed.

Pick up the invulnerability crystal in the center.


Wave 26: 2 Ket-Zek, 2 Yt-MejKot , 1 Tok-Xil
Same as the previous wave.

Wave 27: 1 Ket-Zek, 2 Yt-MejKot, 1 Tok-Xil, 2 Ket
Same as the two previous waves.

Pick up the restoration crystal in the center.

Wave 28: 1 Ket-Zek, 6 Ket-Dill
Start with range gear and anti-magic prayer. AVOID THE KET-DILL AT ALL COSTS. 2-3 Ket-Dill alone can combo-kill you in seconds. Once as safe as possible(after using 0-2 Brew flasks from Dill hits) range the Ket-Zek down. Then proceed to ill the Ket-Dill one by one by trapping and using dreadnips + range(to keep the dreadnips from leaving).

Wave 29: 6 Yt-MejKot
Start with magic gear(Gano, ASN, PPS) and anti-melee prayer. Trap as many as possible, it's not hard to trap all 6. Mage them down and heal up. Be ready to run to the center for wave 30.

Optional: Pick up the magic crystal in the center.

Wave 30: 1 Jad, 3 Yt-MejKot
Start in the same safespot as all the previous Boss Waves. Be in the magic gear from last wave and pray anti-melee before the two Mejkot that spawn on your side of the rock spawn. DO NOT MOVE from the safespot. Kill those two MejKot with magic and then step 1 square north east(no prayer needed) and mage the last MejKot. Switch to Armadyl Battstaff + Storm of Armadyl if you have it. Pray range and be ready to switch. Step out and kill your third Jad.

Waves 31-33: The Combat Triangle

Wave 31: 4 Tok-Xil
Use melee gear and anti-range prayer. Kill them and be ready for the next wave.

Wave 32: 4 Yt-MejKot
Start the wave with magic gear and anti-melee prayer. Polypore them down from a safespot. SS to heal.

Wave 33: 4 Ket-Zek
Start the wave in range gear with anti-magic prayer. Range the Ket-Zek down and be ready for the hardest waves coming up.

Waves 34-36: The Jad Waves

Wave 34: 1 Jad, 1 Ket, 1 Tok-Xil
Start the wave in the safespot northeast of the center rock. Be in magic gear with anti-melee on. Kill the Ket that spawns above you. Switch to range gear step north east and kill the ranger at a distance. Step back to the safespot and change to your best magic gear. Step out and kill the fourth Jad.

Wave 35: 1 Jad, 1 Ket-Zek, 1 Yt-MejKot, 1 Tok-Xil HARDEST WAVE
The northeast safespot is not safe for this wave. Start the wave with an invulnerability crystal active and anti-magic prayer and magic gear on. Stand on the southwest southern square next to the center rock. Move one square west slowly, then one square north. You will take 1-2 hits from Jad during this but you will be invulnerable. Jad will now be trapped behind the 1 square wide rock. DO NOT MOVE FROM THIS SPOT. Kill the Mejkot with magic(you will have to take his hits). Switch to range gear and USE LONG RANGE STANCE. Range the Tok-Xil down and then range the Ket-Zek all without leaving your one safe square. Once they are dead switch to your best magic gear and kill the Jad.

Pick up the constitution crystal at the end of the wave.


Wave 36: 2 Jad
Stand in the original northeast center rock safespot. Let the Jads gather south. Step out kill one jad. Step back, calm yourself, and then step out to kill the other Jad.

Wave 37: Har'Aken

Important note: When he emerges if you are not near him you may not see him emerge. Make sure you can see South, West, and East edges to watch for him. He does not spawn north.

Start this final wave in your best magic gear and stand in a corner.

Submerged: Tentacles will spawn randomly in the lava around you. Always do your best to stand in the corner with the least tentacles. DO NOT STAND WITHIN 2 SQUARES OF THE LAVA, the tentacles can melee. Use anti-range prayer and attack the magic tentacles. If no magic tentacles are present attack ranged tentacles. If no ranged tentacles are present it's safe to switch to anti-magic prayer. You will take a lot of damage so you will need plenty of brews.

Vulnerable: Periodically(more often than you'd think) Har'Aken's head emerges from the lava. This is what you have to kill to win. As soon as you see it drop everything you are doing and attack as hard as you can using dreadnips and your best magic attack(Optional claws for use here). Do ABSOLUTELY as much damage as you possibly can.

Repeat these two steps until Har'Aken is dead.

If you find yourself low on brews start cycling in Invulnerability and restoration crystals. ONLY USE CONSTITUTION CRYSTALS IF YOU HAVE NO OTHER CRYSTALS LEFT. If you survive the 3.5 minutes of the constitution crystal being active you will be returned to full health but the inability to use other crystals while it is active is too great a risk.

Well I can't really rate it to much because I have yet to try the kiln (need to do the quest still lol). It looks good and I will keep it in mind when I eventually attempt it. Thanks for writing it.

I find it helpful to note Har-aken surfaces every 45 seconds. I always use a magic crystal on the Har-aken wave, so with the low defence it's helpful for me to know exactly when to come out of a corner to attack him. Even with a constitution crystal I'd still recommend hiding in a corner and only killing tentacles around yourself to save supplies.
